Two balls of a very thin chenilley deep pink yarn, no ball band or maker information, bought from BeeBee Wools at the 2003 Knitting and Stitching Show for a pound each. It seems quite similar to the (discontinued) [[Rowan Fine Cotton Chenille]]. |

Pattern
Just a rectangle in a lacy pattern I found in a book. It's called something like "faggoted rib". I added an extra knit stitch on each side of the scarf to give a firmer edge and also slipped the first stitch of each row purlwise to give a chained edge.
- Cast on a multiple of three stitches, plus two.
- Row 1: Slip one purlwise with yarn in front, *(knit one, yarn round needle, knit two together), repeat from * to last stitch, knit one.
- Repeat row 1 until long enough.
