Corrugated rib is a knitting stitch that's done like normal rib except the purl columns are in a different colour from the knit columns. It doesn't pull in as much as ordinary rib, and it has the stockinette curl problem because the floats of yarn at the back don't allow the purl columns to recede as they normally would. The secret to overcoming the curl seems to be to have more stitches in the purl columns than in the knit ones - and the knit columns recede slightly.

You do cast on in a single colour, and start the colour changes with the first row.
